We stayed last Sunday in this farm, which for us was a novelty. Wraped by the Po Valley, we opted for a Sunday lunch on the first hills with the hope of remaining satisfied. Classical Piacenza debut with appetizer based on meats (salame, cup and bacon accompanied by an absolutely NOT unto fried dumpling. In addition to the salami we have served a 'excellent gardener. As first we opted for pi would and tortelli butter and sage: really good both. Second we made a taste of roastbeef with baked potatoes: good! Let's close the lunch with homemade dessert, very appreciated. All accompanied by the red wine of the house (lightly sparkling and water. To finish coffee and kill coffee. Total expenditure in 3: 70€ My conclusion is simple: we were well, served discreetly and without drooping, eaten excellently and paid the right (I thought I was going to spend something extra . The owner is a friendly and friendly person. All I can do is recommend this farm to anyone who wants to eat genuine and unusual things. The bill will be a surprise. I think we'll have another meal soon!
We booked for 7 for a Sunday at lunch. Upon arrival we order 5 appetizers asking if 2 instead of the meat could have the cheese, after receiving everything except the cheese we ask again, we are told that it is out menu, we order it however again....mai arrived... We then order a first bis (on the menu there were 4 first ones), tortelli and ravioli, after a while they tell us that the ravioli are finished, in their place we ask the pi would, after we arrive at the table a bit of tortelli, a little more would and a little ravioli. The tortelli were cold and hard, ravioli very much joined. We order therefore (the portions are not abundant) roasted potatoes and 2 portions of lamb chops, after which the waitress returns to tell us that the ribs are finished...May of potatoes were raw. Instead of still wine came sparkling, at first instead of 3 bottles of water arrived 2. I think that Sunday at lunch you should not stay without the dishes of the menu and the waiters should know what is and what is not there...In the account then we were charged for the first bis as 14 portions, but the amount eaten were certainly not two dishes... seen that then we ordered second and sweet... Really a bad experience considering the excellent quality of the farms of the area...I hope for them that it was only a day no, but we will not come back for sure.
I remain based on reviews . After doing more than 100 km to get to this farm, I find the innkeeper to offer wine its unbeatable, a risotto still raw and I would swim in the pirofila where they had just poured a box of borlots. But the best has yet to come. We choose 2 of the 4 types of seconds offered, stylus and baked cup, we were in thirteen and arrived; 1 stylus and 12 cup slices. A farm cannot offer meat that floats in the broth. This kitchen is typical of those who deflate the dishes at the moment with the microwave. _
We had the pleasure to stay 2 nights (with breakfast) in this farm surrounded by nature, in the hills of Piacenza, where the simplicity and friendliness of Joseph and his father made us feel at home. Delicious and abundant breakfast with own production honey. Clean and neat room, simple and tastefully furnished, with daily cleaning and change of towels. I highly recommend, to those who are looking for an excellent quality/price for those who want to spend days in full tranquility and serenity. Sorry not to have had the opportunity to taste and taste their cuisine but surely will not miss the opportunity to go back to try it. Fabio and Chiara
