2fifty Texas Bbq - Riverdale Park

By far my favorite barbecue place in the area, and I've tried most of the major spots. The meat is SO tender, they have a variety of delicious sauces available, and the dining room is cozy and cute. I've had the brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, and both sausage types and all are amazing! I particularly enjoy the sausages as they're super flavorful. I haven't tried too many of the sides, but I've enjoyed all that I have tried other than the pineapple, which was just okay. I definitely want to try the deserts next time I'm in as they look amazing. The service is also quick and friendly.

Good food and good service. Def would recommend their sausages. Not too salty yet delicious and juicy! I didn't order so not too sure what types of meat we got but the ribs were delish too. All the meats were so yummy I don't think you can go wrong here:

We stopped by for dinner on a Saturday afternoon. I was looking forward to the smoke chicken wings, however it was sold out. All chicken was sold out. So, I selected the pork ribs (2), Mac n cheese, sweet potato mash. My friend had the brisket sandwich which came with slaw and pickles. He also had an order of plantains. Order placing was fairly easy. And the interior is open with some picnic table seating. I don't think the food was worth the price. I'm looking forward to returning to try something different. The Mac n cheese tasted like a boxed brand with shredded cheese melted on top. The sweet potato mash was bland to me. I could distinctly taste the nutmeg. After I got it home, I added a pinch of salt, a little vanilla, brown sugar, and butter to incorporate more flavor. For my drink I chose house brewed ice tea. It was watered down and didn't have a distinct tea flavor. It looked as though, and tasted, like it was watered down.

Who would think you were going to get great BBQ in Maryland? However, this is probably some of THE VERY BEST BBQ that I have ever had. Ordered a lot of food and sides for the Illinois Maryland game. Their 6 smoked whole wings for $14. Wow!!! Best wings I have EVER had. Not overly seasoned. I saw what they do as a secret. They take the juice from the brisket and then take a small torch and sear it into chicken wings. Oh, and the brisket..... Great smoke ring, not overly season and oh so juicy. The siu pork belly.... It was gone before I could try it, it was that good. The sides. Incredible creamy cole slaw. Mashed sweet potato right amount of cinnamon, nutmeg and marshmallow. The brisket bean... the beans were so good, not your typical baked beans at all. Reminded me of the Colombian red beans. And the corn bread..... simply WOW. Form pieces yet they were moist not crumbling into pieces) Although it was a big order , the service was super quick in about 10 12 minutes and I was out the door. Interior was nicely decorated and it is on a corner lot. They have some benches for seating and looks to be a nice place to sit down and eat.

This place rocks, hands down the best barbecue I've had in the DMV! The pulled pork sandwich was great and the hot sauce they have is just explosive with heat and flavor. I'm not normally a coleslaw guy but I ate the whole container and thought about going back for more. The only downside were the green beans which were pretty dry and grainy but they have a ton of other options for sides. I got my order to go but they have abundant seating both indoors and out. It's also really cool watching them cut your meat right in front of you. Definitely a place I can see myself frequenting.
