Meg’s Creamery - Rio Linda

Megs Creamery is a fantastic place to visit with the family. We absolutely love it and are thrilled to have them in our town!

The restaurant's Google listing states that it is open on Saturdays, but that is not the case. The sign on the door indicates that their operating hours are Monday through Thursday. These hours seem unusual for an ice cream shop, but that’s alright. It’s frustrating to have people come here for no reason.

I visited this restaurant twice during midday on weekdays, and both times the door was locked. I'm not sure if this place is still open for business.

The last time I visited this place, it was under different ownership, and they were hardly ever open. However, I stopped by about a month ago and treated myself and the kids to some ice cream. The staff was really friendly, and the ice cream was absolutely delicious! We even received a stamp card! Now, every time I drive by, they’re open, which I truly appreciate from a small business.

The restaurant is now under new ownership as of November 22. Their hours are finally consistent, the owner is very friendly, and the ice cream is fantastic!
