The service was quick and efficient, with a friendly and professional waitress taking care of us. Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5 each. Thank you!
I couldn't have asked for a better experience at this restaurant. In just two days in the area, I went back twice! The service was outstanding - they were attentive and courteous. The food and coffee were amazing, although I couldn't enjoy any alcohol as I was driving. I will definitely make a beeline for this place the next time I'm in the area. Well done! The price per person is between £10-£20. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
Came here for a friend's birthday in August. We had been in the New Forest and were very hungry. No food was available. We were a large group and bought a fair few drinks. The drinks service was very slow and the cocktails were low standard, mojitios with far too much sugar. We had some food from outside which we tried to eat in the garden without a fuss. Didn't see it as an issue as the pub sold no food and we were spending money. From here on, my girlfriend was completely ostracised by the staff. They made up stories about how she made the guests uncomfortable, she was told not to take her drink to the toilet (for a girl this can be very unsafe leaving a drink in a pub you don't know). And was generally bullied by the staff to the point she was in tears wondering what she had done. Our entire group ended up leaving and finding somewhere more welcoming. Ate here last night with my pal, great beer and food reasonably priced. Nice comfortable surroundings and atmosphere. The landlord was spot on very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely visit again when parking up in Ringwood for the night. Edit: Just seen the 4 negative reviews all posted within a week ? Sounds like one person had a bad experience and got their friends to chip in or a rival business ? The place was very busy for a Wednesday night which speaks for itself. I’d definitely recommend you try it first before believing the negative reviews posted on here. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Ringwood Beer Battered Fish Chips
Breakfast was reasonably priced and tasted fine. Unfortunately that's where the positive ends. The young women working this morning were really lovely but looked like they'd been crying bless them. (But I'd be miserable too if I had to work for that man) And whilst waiting for food we were present for one of the waitresses being bollocked by the landlord Gary. A man of few words if you're not a local. Not sure I'd visit had I read the reviews beforehand. Would have put two stars if I didn't stick to the tables like warm toffee.
