La Calma Playa - Rincón de la Victoria

We had the most delicious food in a stunning beach side setting. As we couldn’t see the footpath the other side of the wall from where we were sitting, the sea looked like a massive infinity pool still and sparkling. Go just for the view and wine. Having said that go for the food as well!! I had a massive salad of mango, avocado and prawns drizzled with a mango dressing. Any fault was it just needed a bit of seasoning but that’s me being picky. Meanwhile, himself had their take on gambas pil pil with fusion twist, lots of prawns snd diced red peppers in a really wonderful aromatic garlicky, possibly teriyaki, sauce. Definitely fusion food with a large helping of crispy noodles, he was in seventh heaven as they’re hard to come by. We had really good wholemeal rolls luckily so we could sop up the lovely remnants of sauce. Delectable. We shared a chocolate brownie, that was the right chocolatey taste but sadly dry. The accompanying coconut ice cream was lovely but only a measly single scoop. Service was quick and efficient despite a busy lunchtime in main dining area. Eat outside if you can for the view.

Scenery was amazing. Food was awesome. Price is compatible with the quality of everything. The single one improvement to be suggested to the menu is to make it clearer that the chicken wok is rice rather than noodles.

Last Saturday we visited La Calma for my birthday with 10 friends and family. 2nd visit to this wonderfully located restaurant and once again we have had a great experience. Extensive, mouthwatering menu, with something for everyone topped with friendly and professional service. An excellent restaurant for every occasion.

Buen lugar para ir con niños, tienen menú para ellos y manteles para entretener la pintura; estar cerca del mar los niños pueden correr en la playa y los padres comen tranquilamente. en términos de la oferta gastronómica, aunque ya repetitiva en la fusión, es de calidad. los platos son gratuitos. buen trabajo con atún y carne de calidad. sabrosos fideos pero simplifica el servicio rápido y eficaz. en contra, mucha locura, ruido.

Buena experiencia en este complejo junto a la playa, en una zona elevada. resaltar el falso risotto, que fue una sorpresa y fue bastante bueno, aparte de que se hace bastante menos pesado que si llevaba arroz. el servicio de la chica era muy amable y correcto. los platos fueron servidos rápidamente. por poner un pero, la ensalada rusa lleva tacos de pescado crudo, y juro que no lo vi poner en la carta.
