Folles Farines - Rimouski

Sweet and salty, hot and cold. Quiches à la française, giant raisin rolls, cookies too big to eat. Different bread styles, all is tasty! Good stop!

We made a quick stop here to pick up some pastries for breakfast and snacks. This is an attractive little bakery right in the middle of town. We bought croissants and some raspberry/chocolate muffins. The croissants were ok but the muffins were outstanding. There were...lots of real raspberries and chunks of chocolate in the muffins. They were moist and tasty.

We bought breads, pastries and products from the area. The staff were courteous and friendly. The owners from France have informed us about places to visit and eat.

After hiking in Parc National du Bic for two days, I had the chance to stop by Folles Farines on my way to and from Rimouski. While I didn't try any of their breads, I did treat myself to a delicious chocolate-raspberry cupcake and a latte, which I enjoyed on their cozy outdoor terrace. The shop is charming, offering a variety of local and regional products in addition to their own baked goods. The service was friendly and welcoming. A detour to Folles Farines is definitely worth it on your journey to or from Rimouski.

The restaurant is cozy but can get a bit warm inside. However, they offer delicious pastries, coffee, croissants, and more. The service is also top-notch.
