Contribuiți la feedbackBeautiful appetizer, but fish and chip took too long. long wait for 45 min and still no fish and chip after 1 hour, so we decided to have main course elsewhere. very disappointed service and restaurant not busy.
This review is a mixed bag. My wife loved it and I didn't. She ordered meerrot tuna and loved him. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was warm and cold at one end in the middle. How in the world can you align fish and chips? I went hungry and was looking forward to breakfast.
It is day 2 of quebec's Proof-Vaccination requirement to dinate in restaurants, and that made us very comfortable to enjoy the cozy, warm elastics of la forge, where we were still in the position to have a great distance from our neighbours at our ecktisch near. to keep the front door. two server managed to work the entire restaurant efficiently and friendly and well maintained. we started with a pitcher of griffintown blonde beer, which was a beautiful and light tastier version of coors light. one of the most important was a delicious rainbow trout $23. the other was a mouthwater piece of steak $30, which was small on the eye, but massive on the taste buds. both dishes were served with large portions of crispy, perfectly cooked frying with a side of the house mayo (as well as fries in the lowlands eat) and a sown salad. with control and tipp, the evening cost under $100 and was most pleasant.
Great local little Bistro Resto. With excellent food. We had Steak-Bavette and French Pommes selection of 5 there with in house selection mayo.) Perfect place to meet friends or couples, not sure that it is comfortable with children.
Small and intimate. Franco pop playing but not to loud. I really liked my rainbow trout and my wife felt the same about her steak. Sides were great too. Lots of folks in the place knew each other. Our server was charming and struggled with...her English even after saying our French was better than her English. Great acoustics so even though it filled up n a Tuesday night, it felt intimate and private.
