Villa Rosa Riviera - Rimini

We stayed here for 2 nights 8-10th of July. The booking was in my boyfriend's name. It was a very mixed experience really which is why I'm giving it just 3 stars. The room was nice but much smaller than we had thought it would be. We booked the superior double room with sea view. While we could technically see the sea from our balcony we had more of a street view with the sea far away in the distance. We were on a lower floor (first or second from what I remember) and some trees were blocking most of our sea view. There were cheaper rooms at the side of the hotel with a side sea view and I think we would have a much better view had we chosen the cheaper rooms instead. The first night at the hotel was awful due to the music from the DJ on the beach. We went to ask the hotel reception for ear plugs. They had none and when we asked what time they thought the music would end they said they didn't know. I asked could it be 3 or 4 in the morning and they indicated that it could be. Thankfully the DJ stopped playing at 1am but how could a hotel on the beachfront not know such details? I'm not a light sleeper at all but with all the doors and windows closed it still sounded like the music was blaring in the room. Next thing was the breakfast. We had seen great reviews online for the hotel breakfast and the food was amazing on the first morning. The second morning (Monday) there was a very small selection to choose from in comparison to the day before. Also on both mornings when we arrived to the breakfast area there was no staff member there to seat us. We were left standing for a few minutes the first morning before an unfriendly woman walked up and advised us that it is self-service. Another staff member took our tea/coffee order. On the first morning I was able to order a second cappuccino but on the second day there was no one to take my order. Staff were rushing around and never even looked in the direction of our table. I walked up to the barista and ordered a cappuccino as I was at the first table which was directly in front of her station. She said no problem and I went back to sit down at the table in front of her. I must have waited about 15 mins and the cappuccino never arrived. She couldn't have forgotten as our table was right in front of her and she seen me looking over multiple times. Overall a badly run breakfast area that needs to be better managed to ensure better service.

A great stay, everything was perfect except for the very limited space in the bathroom. Reduced but everything is there!!! Truly impeccable freshly prepared breakfast. I will definitely return Rooms: Bathroom a little small but Complete with everything Nearby activities: In the center of Rimini, with free public parking nearby. Safety: Calm Walkability: Great Food drinks: Optimal Noteworthy details: Nobody Rooms: 4
