Dropped in to the Empress for coffee after shopping in Rimbey, I had hear a lot of positive buzz and wanted to try it out. The staff was friendly and efficient, bringing my hot chocolate to our table when it was ready so I didn't have to stand and wait. The carrot cake was tasty and enjoyable, and the shop is decorated with an eclectic mix of tables and chairs, as well as decorative signs and unique clocks (which are for sale) on the wall. I'm told the soups and sandwiches are outstanding, so I'll be back soon to give them a try!
