Delicious cornetti and super kind owner . He’s such an inspiring person that I stayed just to talk to him and missed my train . But it was definitely a fruitful afternoon . I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart
The absolute BEST ORIGINAL Cappuccino you will ever try. It is made of different layers of flavors...
The owner is very very kind and inclined to chat which is a rare thing nowadays. There is always a family atmosphere of those who have spent their whole lives behind that counter. Own dessert production. It would need much more attendance as it produces quality but unfortunately has few customers and therefore it may remain difficult to maintain high standards. I wish him to be back in vogue because he deserves it.
When I happen to come to Rieti, the first thing I do is go to Gianfranco to have a good coffee, perhaps accompanied by some tasty sweets he made. Not missing the opportunity to stop by Bombolo is a very personal tradition, living in Rome offers thousands of opportunities where you can enjoy a good coffee or a good croissant, but here there is a call to authenticity, where you don 't come for find the trendy or chic place, rather than a renowned pastry chef, with his cubic croissants or other fantasies of Social Network consumerism.... here you come to rediscover that familiarity and that old-time Bar atmosphere, where everyone who come in, you have a name and maybe you want to have a chat with the BARTENDER. The pastries, the fillings, but more generally everything to eat is totally homemade, so if you are in Rieti, don 't miss the opportunity to stop in one of the longest-running bars in the city, you won 't regret it, especially if you enjoy a coffee special: IL CAFFE BOMBOLO . The friendliness, professionalism of Gianfranco Faraglia and the history of coffee in Rieti await you.
