Bistrot Rita Galassetti - RIETI

We discovered this place on advice of the owner of the restaurant one hundred percent taste, which unfortunately Saturday evening could not welcome us. I probably wouldn't have chosen it if I had passed in front of it, I would have feared a precooked kitchen for poor tourists, perhaps for the name Bistrot that reminds me of the bad bars/hot table of my Paris as a student wassmus. Nothing further from the reality: well-kept place, but not in my style, given the space relocated with too many materials (brick, stone and wood) of different styles (original floor in terracotta combined with tiles from outside and wooden boards covered by a large Persian simil carpet) with a thousand nymnoli and scattered furnishings; rather courteous staff, a little bit of rush seen the perhaps unexpected covers; high-level kitchen! We took a risotto with scampi cream for 2, nice tasty but however delicate, soft and mantecato, maybe too much to the tooth for my taste but for the taste nothing to say. To follow a tuna cut with pistachio and acacia honey (perfect cooking, beautiful pink cut and soft inside) more roasted bass with potatoes and tomatoes in the oven (juicy fish for nothing dry, with crispy and aromatic contour). All in more than abundant and well presented portions. Honest prices for quality and quantity (including coffee and water we paid 70euro round) excellent location (in the middle but slightly laid out by chaos) and relaxing atmosphere. Surely we will come back to taste the other menu proposals and to try the delicious desserts we have seen on the tables of other customers. Recommended!!!!

What to say...every time we come back always exceed expectations... dishes speak for themselves, excellent presentation and better is the taste...this time we opted for the fish menu and obviously we did not regret at all...Top! Unique doubt? Why don't we come here more often?

I hardly give 5 stars but, in this case, they are all there. Local, in the beautiful square that literally is the Italian navel, cared for in detail. Furnished with taste and, above all, very clean. Food, of high quality, cooked with imagination and skill. Excellent price quality ratio. Courtesy, professionalism and sympathy of the manager. To try absolutely!

Beautiful restaurant and attention to detail, good service, but too expensive for what we ate, good appetizers, but the first too salty, the second nothing of that. Good service, but not perfect.
