Leon Mexican - Ridgewood

Went here for Restaurant Week and she offered a phenomenal deal: 3 courses for $25. The churro dessert, which was tasty. Queso and chicken wing appetizers were good. Carnitas and Fajitas were also good. Rice was a little bland. The service was sometimes a little slow. Overall a pleasant expert and a great value.

I took my oldest daughter for lunch today. I had a chicken buredo that she had a steak-buredo. The service was friendly and attentive. The chips and salsa were great. The food came out quickly. Buredo was okay. Not great, but good, and I was full when I left. Wasn't thrilled that the page was green instead of black beans. I will definitely try again. I would recommend it.

The food is fantastic. Ask for the Guacamol bowl because it's delicious. This part of the country (read: Bergen County) is missing from good Tex Mex and this place fulfills this role beautifully. Just go!

Guacamole is a must. One of the best I had. The service was slow, but will still go back.

Really enjoyed my recent visit to Leon! We had a larger group and they were easily able to accommodate us. The food, service, and ambiance was great. We all ordered some type of appetizer; nachos, chicken wings, and guacamole, everything was delicious. For my entree, I ordered the chicken enchilada with mole sauce which I thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone at our table ordered something different and enjoyed their meal. This is a BYOB place so we brought a bottle of tequila and ordered a pitcher of margarita mix for the table which was really good. The service was at a slower pace, but it allowed us to enjoy our meal and we were easily able to get the attention of servers when we needed something. It was nice not to be rushed in an out of a place. We had a great night and look forward to returning!
