The Prickly Hippie - Ridgeland

I always make a point to stop by for a delicious pastry (some refer to them as pop tarts) and a charming little gemstone whenever I'm in the neighborhood. It is definitely on the pricier side, but I assure you, you won’t find this level of quality and flavor at any other corporate bakery!

I asked Jenni to make a cake for my sister’s baby shower, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better! The cake was absolutely beautiful that no one wanted to cut into it. When we finally did, it was delicious! Aside from this gorgeous creation, I often stop by whenever I'm in town to grab a few peace tarts before heading back to California, and the staff is always so friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere of the shop is truly unique compared to anywhere else in Mississippi. I highly recommend it for any floral or bakery needs!

The Prickly Hippie provided the flowers and flower crown for my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Jenni was laid-back and easy to collaborate with during the planning process. She had a wonderful vision for the relaxed style of our wedding, and everything turned out perfectly. Even though PH was in the midst of opening their store at the time, Jenni still took the time to address all my questions. The flowers and succulents were stunning, but the coffee and sweets are truly exceptional as well. My favorites are the lavender latte and the stuffed cookie sandwiches. I really appreciate the attention to detail that PH puts into all their products. As a small business, they offer personal service that is well worth it. I am one happy customer. I absolutely love this place! The Hostess cupcakes have become my new favorite. Everything not only looks fantastic but tastes even better. The staff always greets me with a warm welcome when I enter, and despite being understaffed, they consistently have smiles on their faces and go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable.

I was so impressed with the pastries at this place! I found it online while I was out of state and promised myself I would visit as soon as I was back in the area. The maple bacon donut is absolutely incredible—a must-try! My dad ordered the lemon blueberry PeaceTart and claimed it was the best pastry he had ever tasted. I’ve been here twice now and definitely intend to return. Just a heads up: make sure to come when you’re craving something sweet, as the icing on the pastries tends to be quite sugary!
