The Oakford Pool Hall - Richwood

This is not your typical bar food. It feels like genuine home cooking, from Taco Tuesday to today’s pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes, not to mention some delicious-looking desserts. I say 'delicious-looking' because I simply didn’t have enough room to sample them. The establishment is a beer-only pool hall that serves as a cornerstone of the community—almost like a social club. The staff is incredibly welcoming and will make you feel right at home if you decide to make this a regular stop during your visit. Enjoy!

Nice friendly staff and friendly locals. My salad was ok. My friend's sandwich was one of the best he's had and so we were disappointed when we returned the next morning (Sunday) and they were not open yet.

The woman that was working was very polite and personable! She gave me alot of info about the pool hall. They have alot of activities every month. I honestly think it was better than whistle punk! To me its the best restaurant to eat at in Richwood!!!Kid-friendliness: Kid and pet friendly!

Needed to kill 4 hours for a utility company window in Richwood. Not an easy feat. Checked Yelp and reviews for lunch joints.Bar looked inviting but could not sit due to a neurotic dog named Lucky.. walked in Gals, bartender, cook, and a 3rd, all were very hospitable and offered suggestions specials, quick orders, etcBeef Taco lunch was it. Non exciting flour torts with a lining of ground beef, lettuce, and a side if chips for $7.50. I understand inflation and its local biz. I stopped 8 years ago before the remodel in my 50th birthday. Back then the bartender was 80 and carded me. He wasn 't joking. The bar looks good.I will go back. I bet the beer is exceptionally cold

I happened upon this restaurant while searching for a meal, and I left a big fan of their tacos. Now I eagerly look forward to Tuesdays for their Mexican food! The service is fantastic, and dining in is a great experience thanks to the wonderful atmosphere. I definitely plan to visit again—Tuesday can’t come soon enough!
