Hochi Mama - Richmond

Have tried both Richmond and CBD Locations. Only difference in location is the atmosphere. Portion sizes are similar. Richmond location was tried late 2022. Here I treid their 'Southside Curry ' alongside a side of rice and their starter Pork Bao. Although pricey, curry had generally good flavours, nothing too impressive. For drinks we tried 2 cocktails. Small again and pricey, nothing too impressive. At their CBD location, first impressions was the crowded, noisey atmosphere. It was hard to hear my guest across the table from me. Service however was prompt. This trip we ordered the Red Duck Curry, rice and dumplings as starters. The dumplings has an odd taste, almost like the meat was pushing it on age and freshness. The curry however was really nice. Portion enough for one person, however, we shared between two. I opted for ordering a mocktail and for the price I 'd say it was fine. Parking: For both locations, easiest options is public transport!

Consistently good always guaranteed a great meal and staff are lovely. Left my brand new designer! sunnies on the table and when I called later they had them safe and sound. I really appreciated it. Thanks Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
