Dekoboko - Richmond

Got the soy chicken don, which was a solid 10/10! amazing eating and reasonable price. faster service also!

I am regularly at dekoboko, but unfortunately the last two times I went were not pleasant experiences. that came mainly to the service of the staff. for the first time, the server did not enter orders and did not notice or ask if we had everything, since a person had no food despite our order. at the time it was not busy and there was really not much of an excuse, but it happened, so I let it slip and hoped the next time would be as good as it was in the rule. next time we ordered 2 donburi and 2 drinks and waited a total time of 40 minutes for our food. this was completely unacceptable and there was no communication of the staff about the waiting that was even more sharpened. I know that they were quite understated and I think the rice ran from the rice cookers or something and we had to wait until the rice was cooked, but again, that is speculation because we were not told. other customers got their food and we were not and it was just a terrible wait. at the end we got our food and our faces stuffed and paid and abandoned. no change to the bill or anything that should be for a quick easy lunch. I really like this place and want to support it, but they really need to communicate better with customers and have more personal when the dinges are busy, so customers are not allowed to wait in the dark! I hope they can correct these problems because I want to come back!

The place doesnt look inviting from the outside but the food drink were good well priced. beef curry don was good. The beef is tender gyoza was kind of cold chicken karaage was nice, I dont recommend eggmayo sauce though, it’s quite lumpy highly recommend hot matcha latte, milk roll cake yuzu soufflé

Incredible. Had the cake drink deal, was phenomenal. Roll cake was soft, tasted incredible, matcha drink was refreshing and also so delicious. So amazing! And service was great and friendly, will definitely be coming back!
