Contribuiți la feedbackI had only a terrible experience in our local jamies trattoria in richmond. our daughter chose her 10th birthday dinner. it started great, but waited 30min for our second course, my sonny burger, where sit on the pass for 10mins, until I went and complained. the 2 mini-burgers looked like a meatball in a bungalow cut 3 times the size with a half pot yogurt on the lower bungalow. my six-year-old son started crying when he looked at his yukky dinner (don't blame him! And then my daughter started crying because he was and it was her birthday! the chef came by and said I'm sorry he shouldn't leave a new chef who makes our dinner. the managerin came over 10 minutes later and...read more
We started with the antipasti, which included garlic bread, crispy squid and courgette, caponata, and parma ham. The garlic bread was a bit salty, but everything else was delicious. I went to review Jamie's new offering in Richmond. The Trattoria is different from Jamie's Italian in that it is said to be more cozy and rustic, but still offers high quality Italian food. I thought it would be a quiet night and I wouldn't need to make a reservation. It was fairly quiet, but it was only six thirty when I arrived. I chose to sit at the end of the bar to have a better view of the surroundings. The staff promptly greeted me and showed me to my seat where I could settle in. The restaurant is larger than I expected. I had seen pictures online, but they didn't do it justice...
We decided to try Jamie's in Richmond on a whim. At first, we were skeptical, expecting it to be similar to other chain restaurants like Zizzi or Pizza Express. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was lively, with delicious food being served. Even though we had to wait for a table since we didn't have a reservation, we enjoyed drinks at the bar, including Jamie's own specialty beer. Overall, we were impressed with the quality of the food and the atmosphere at Jamie's.
