Heath's Sandwich - Richmond Upon Thames

Stumbled across Heath's Sandwich Bar 6 years ago when I moved to the Twickenham area and was looking for somewhere like this to cater for the hunger of a gang of people who had helped me lift boxes all morning and were feeling a little peckish, to say the least. It is run by Steve the owner and Karolina, who are always very welcoming and friendly. There's a large selection of fillings to choose from hot and cold and a selection of bread, roll or baguettes. Everything is hand-made, not pre prepared. They will also made you up a Salad box, if you want, which I highly recommend (Chicken Avocado). The sandwiches are filled properly with plenty in it, so you will need two hands to hold it unless you want half of it in your lap or all over you. there's also a selection of crisps, drinks and fruit to finish off your lunch. It's most probably not the cheapest place but definitely the best for a decent sandwich in the nearby area and is always busy with students and workers from local shops and offices. Four years on and we still go in every so often for lunch when we're on the move and running about, even though we moved a few miles away from the Twickenham Green area.

The place makes good sandwiches. I normally pass through around breakfast and get a toastie. Not much to it, but quick and cheap.
