The HOST - Richmond Hill

For the first time to host. tables were not cleaned on my expectation!. had to order from a photocopy of a menu (because covid there is no buffet table) I understand. we ordered a lamb dish 19) and a chicken biryani. 17) court. I was shocked when the food arrived. the lamb curry court was so small (probably worth $2-3 to prepare), came with nothing else (rice would have been nice) and the biryani was enough for two people. the food tasted good, but I felt it was overpriced for the amount we got. when I mentioned the expensive cost for the waiter, his answer was the rent for the place expensive and someone has to pay higher prices to cover the rent, really? what an rude waiter. I told him I wasn't there to pay the rent. yet I will never protect this place again.

The best restaurant. stupid policy. I have destroyed the experience. Never go there. bad bad bad never recommended.

We visited on a Sunday at noon and had no trouble finding a table, though it may be busier on weekdays/weekends. 2. Food: The Indian food here is top-notch. They offer a variety of curries, tandoori dishes, naans, rice, and more. The chaat/bhel station where they prepare fresh snacks was a nice touch, as well as the freshly made gilibi (Indian sweet). The tandoori chicken was a bit saucy for my taste, but still delicious. The service was excellent and the turnover of food was fast, ensuring freshness. 3. Drinks: The mango lassi was a hit with my wife, while I opted for a coke. I would recommend sticking to non-carbonated beverages to maximize value. 4. Desserts: The fresh gilibi station was a standout, a must-try. 5. Kid-friendly: The restaurant was accommodating for our two young children, with mild-spiced food and a spacious back room for our group. The servers were friendly and attentive. 6. Service: The staff was attentive and friendly, regularly checking on us during our meal. 7. Bathroom: Clean and well-maintained, a pleasant surprise compared to other Indian restaurants. 8. Price: We found the prices reasonable, considering the quality and variety of food offered. Overall, a positive experience and we will definitely be back, despite the distance from our home.
