Taftan Kebab - Richmond Hill

The kebab was extremely disappointing in terms of flavor. It didn't even taste like authentic meat; it felt more like a grilled ground filler. I certainly won't be coming back.

Whenever I travel to Toronto from the US, I always enjoy ordering from Taftan. However, this time, for the first time ever, my order was completely messed up—they tripled it! It seemed like a genuine mistake, maybe the lady misheard me. But when I went in to resolve the issue, she became erratic and rude, even accusing me of being a constant complainer. I had to show her my US driver's license to prove I wasn’t lying. Her behavior was degrading and disrespectful. When I politely pointed out that good customer service is crucial, she didn’t even look at me and failed to apologize. I’m really disappointed. While the food is excellent, I can’t enjoy it due to this unpleasant experience. I won’t be ordering from there again.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is excellent; the gentleman there always treats me to some tadig with whatever stew he has available—truly exceptional! Parking: There’s plenty of space available.

I'm changing my review. The ghormeh sabzi stew was absolutely terrible—definitely tasted like it came straight out of a can. It made us feel really sick. The kebab and jooje were not good either. The staff was different this time, which might explain the drop in quality.

I usually hesitate to write negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. Unfortunately, this was the worst Persian food I've ever had. It used to be decent, but the quality has significantly declined recently. I've decided not to return. On top of that, the manager was rather rude.
