New Choice Chinese Restaurant

Amazing! It was my first time here and I was so impressed. The food was light and delicious and fresh.

Several negative reviews mention the 12% service charge, but I found it to be less than my usual tip amount. The food at this restaurant was delicious and the portion sizes were just right.

I purchased a coupon for their prix fixe dinner special. The food was disappointing as it lacked flavor. The teppanyaki dishes were bland and the sauces were not appetizing. The portion sizes were small, but sufficient to satisfy hunger. The service was decent, but the teppanyaki chef was not very entertaining.

The beef with pepper and fried bok choy were delicious at this restaurant. However, I found the recommended dish by the waitress, the Thai-style grilled pork slices, to be overly fatty.

I was looking for a new choice and stumbled upon New Choice Restaurant. This was a fairly packed Chinese restaurant which is always a good sign. They serve Cantonese fare including classic stir free and congee at reasonable prices. We tried the combo set A for 4 along with congee: New Choice Premium Congee Signature Steamed Chicken Sweet Sour Pork Stir Fried Fresh Bok Choy w/ Garlic Sauces Braised Garoupa with Tofu Glad that house congee came with some shrimp, egg yolk, squid scallop in a medium sized bowl. The set menu also came with decent soup. But the main dishes were a little light on flavour, helped by salt white pepper. Portion sizes were large service was relatively attentive. This spot seems to be a staple for some regulars; we probably won’t be one of them. But glad to have a new choice.
