Although the quality and taste of the fish is a little bit above average, its price is too. We expected more for this price, at least give us freshly grind wasabi. We rather go downtown.
Great service and sashimi. The cut on sashimi is the right size. Not a lot of seats and it's important to make reservation in advance. The restaurant is usually closed in August every year for a month so better call to check out before popping in.
Not a very extensive menu but they provide all the basic Japanese meal including items inspired by Asian fusion, such as, an okonomiyaki pizza.
This is a great Japanese restaurant. Their sashimi and sushi are fresh, thick, and delicious. I also like their seafoods Udon. The Japanese chef and his Chinese wife are very friendly. I will introduce to my friends too.
This is literally a mom and pop shop, so don't expect a fancy lunch. Focus instead on the food. There isn't a lot on the menu that is out of place in any Japanese restaurant but what's here is made beautifully. Gyoza are crunchy and perfectly spiced, dragon roll is lovely, fried tofu is creamy and light, spicy tuna is excellent. But what you want is the special. If you like fish, just go with it. Whatever it is. We had a lovely fattty salmon, partially seared with a torch and served as sushi. It was buttery, complex and awesome.Service is brisk and the decor and location won't win prizes, but for a quick and affordable sushi lunch, you can't do much better.
