Hakka 77 - Richmond Hill

This is a hidden gem, with good food and great prices. authentic Chinese and Thai food than most typical Chinese/Thai Restaurants out there.

Interested to try hakka food. manchurian chicken fried chicken pieces in a soy/ ginger/ cilantro gooey sauce thickened with corn starch. hakka chow mien was made with yellow noodles and they were not bad. overall good to try.

Went there tonight for the time. Had lots of variety. Started off with chicken tom yum soup and mango salad. Followed by garlic shrimp dish, cashew nut chicken, beef Cantonese chowmein. All was very tasty; good portion sizes. Will definitely return when I’m in...this area again.

Very poor customer service. lady was very rude with kids. We order lots of food..the Manchurian pakora,that was little uncook.. not busy at all on saturday. we are only on whole restaurant..we decide to pick up for my parents same what we had...and we have...to throw food because pakora forgot to fry...they put uncook Manchurian pakora in gravy... very bad service they are not busy at all..that makes this mistake..disappointed..After two years we came back...with guest...seems like new management...menu price recipt price are not match at all...they charge more.... my husband trust them pay without seeing bill..she asked amount we pay after that she ask for bill receipt but we said thats fine...but after that we realise we paid more than menu price...ridiculous...the old lady waitress mad on kids like she has all manners..she is teaching kids manners..my foot..

Wife and I went for Dinner on a Monday. First time here. Place is neat and pleasant. Our server was okay. Not a long wait for food to arrive. We ordered seafood soup Chili shrimp Red thai curry-shrimp Chicken fried rice shrimp and red curry portions were small. Biggest complaint there was no flavour to the food. Only the red curry was half decent-crunchy beans. Rice and chilli shrimp were bland and disappointing. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place
