This place is truly fantastic! It's a cozy spot with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. They were attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. All the food was served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area.

Very cool atmosphere and I liked it as soon as I walked in. Liked the colors, Ordered the shrimp basket, was so good! Flavor was great even without the sauce provided. Nice , elevated bar. Great mural in back and a great place overall. Staff very cool, as well. Enjoy! Hat

Omg...the Tipsy Crab was amazing. I am visiting from out of town and our waitress Patrice made us feel right at home. The entire staff catered to all the customers and the food was superb! Bravo Tipsy Crab...will definitely be back! 5 Stars all the way

I recently visited Tipsy Crab after discovering they had reopened, and I was thrilled to find that they hadn't missed a beat. I ordered my favorite dish, the sweet and tipsy po' boy, along with their amazing tipsy fries, and it tasted just as great as I remembered. Then I spotted the delicious gumbo and seafood mac and cheese on the menu, so I couldn't resist placing another order. That turned out to be the best decision! The seafood mac and cheese was perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of cheese and pasta — so good! The gumbo was served piping hot; I accidentally burned my tongue trying to eat it too quickly, but it was definitely worth it. I'm so glad I can satisfy my seafood cravings again. I had a chat with the owner, who mentioned they are bringing back the bar, so I’ll finally get to enjoy those generous shots again. I know exactly where I’ll be this Saturday! Next up on my list is the fat crab cake sandwich, and I can't wait! The only thing I wish is that the mac and cheese came in a larger portion because I could eat that every day.

Definitely try the crab fries—they're absolutely delicious! I stopped by after a doctor's appointment at VCU, craving something light yet satisfying. The crab cake sandwich was just right—made with real crab, lettuce, pickles, and a sauce that complemented it perfectly. To top it off, I enjoyed some hushpuppies! The crab fries were equally impressive, cooked to perfection—crispy, warm, and topped with genuine crab and a delightful sauce. The lady at the bar was wonderful as well; she greeted us warmly, assisted with our order, and offered great recommendations. I will definitely be returning!
