The Hofheimer Rooftop - Richmond

Great atmosphere, great music, and a very laid back chill place for a roof top bar. The place has a ton of space with three floors and three bars. Fun games to play. Great location and staff was great. Didn't try food but it looked good.

Overall nice place, kind staff, and different from most establishments. Definitely recommend coming too, even bring your family.

I’ve been to 3 of the 4 rooftop bars in the RVA (haven’t made it to the Graduate yet, so no comments directed toward that spot), and The Hof is the only one that is laid back, unpretentious AND always has stellar service. I went for the firework viewing last night and thought that surely it would be impossible to get a drink after 8:30 (as it was a sold out event), but they were staffed up and prepared with bartenders behind the bar and floating around to tables. My wait on a hugely busy night was around 5 minutes for everything, and they were pleasant. I’m so glad that this one is the one closest to home. Highly recommend!

What a great venue for shows, events, or just to grab a pizza and a beer at happy hour! And the rooftop, wow!
