Sumo San - Richmond

Some of the best sushi I?ve had abd I've had sushi all over the world! Fresh beautifully presented. The inside is cute, nice handcrafted tables, laid back vibe. Only thing missing was cool music to go with the retro vibe. Love the yakisoba-perfectly seasoned and not too oily. The waitress is great-attentive without being on top of you. Totally unpretentious vibe. Will be back!

I?m not sure what kind of hibachi this is. Money literally wasted! The ?Yum Yum? sauce was disgusting!! ????????It left a BAD after taste in my mouth and they were very stingy with the extra sauces even after I told them I didn?t mind paying $1 each! Will NOT go back!

What a great lunch! the sushi was fresh and prepared immediately after ordering. I ordered the pot stickers, I usually prefer the non-fried sort pot stickers, but these were delicious. the gurken dillsauce that came with the potstickers was an unusual but tasteful pairing. the roasted beef had the perfect cripple and together with the honey teriyaki the aromen exploded in my mouth. the prices were very reasonable. I have three rolls for and they have daily lunch specials for in the atmosphere and music was great. I really like it when places the ears on the wall with different cities have time and sumo san did. this is a must if in churchill!

Alaska roll. delicious! lachs was so fresh that it was almost fluffy.
