Straight From Texas -b-que - Richmond

Absolutely delicious! I had the brisket, and my boys enjoyed the pork. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I can't wait to return to try more dishes. The mac and cheese was among the best I've ever had!

I stopped for lunch here on my way back from Tennessee after finding it on Google Maps. I was looking for a local spot with great reviews. We ordered the pulled brisket and pulled pork, along with sides of mac and cheese, green beans, and potato salad. Everything was excellent! We were also offered some delicious ice cream for dessert. It was the perfect place for lunch—the staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed the radio station that was playing. Thank you!

The staff is excellent, explained the options well. The BBQ is Texas Pit Style reminds me of Blacks BBQ in Texas. As a family of 5 we chose the Texas Sampler and a rack of ribs. They know Brisket and Ribs! We also enjoyed pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, corn cake, baked beans and tater salad. Great find on our way through town! Best BBQ I have ate in Richmond

The food is absolutely delightful. Everything on the menu looked so tempting that it was hard to choose. I opted for the rib seal, accompanied by two sides, and it was an exciting culinary experience. This little family-owned restaurant is a gem, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. If you're not quite sure where to go, just follow your nose—it will lead you to the delicious aroma of the smoker. So tasty!

We had the ribs and beef sausages both very good, ribs were moist and delicate. The pages we had were potato salad, topped greens and Cole Slav everything was very good, topped greens were excellent. I might have got a higher rating, but they weren't from Brisket.
