Sear Burger - Richmond

I really enjoyed stopping this facility. Small dining area, clean relaxation room, lively music and art on the walls. Friendly staff and interesting food. I had a butterfly fried chicken taco and the flavors were amazing! I expected a larger portion, but I realized that I ordered several tacos to make a filling. That's what the other girls did. We were for a quick snack, but so we were happy. Very cool mood here and fun experience.

It was nice cozy feeling restaurant with very limited seating. Casual food for students and for a quick snack. People were nice to talk to them and were very well informed about their food. You order and play at the counter they will bring the food to your table when ready. We had to bring back our utensils. Portions are very small.

I gave this place 5 stars for its uniqueness and mood. I think the food came second. I love tacos and I love soul food so you know I had to taste a whole series of different. Here is the order how good they were from most favorite to least favorite: 1. Fried Chicken Taco (100% recommend this if it is your first time) 2. Catfish Taco (which is also to get it, it is almost identical to fried chicken, only with Wels instead) 3. Oxtail Taco (the meat was tender but not as tasteful as I would have liked) 4. Jerk Chicken taco (the chicken was dry and not tasteful, it was missing there) I would also recommend getting their lemonade, it is pretty sweet, so conscious, but in my opinion it tastes really good. Also free refills when you drink it there.

Best tacos in RVA, hands down. Their recipes for each is very well cured/hardened, and the flavors complement each other perfectly. Very good value, especially given the fact where the economy is now, and large/friendly personnel and customer service. It was ready to wait for me. Couldn't have been easier.

It was cloudy and dreary outside, but nothing's better than some delicious tacos to brighten your day. I try to swing by Soul Taco every time I'm in the neighborhood at lunch time. The standouts on deck today we're the Buttermilk Chicken and the Gordita Crunch. Superb! Service is fast, friendly and welcoming.
