The sides accompanying the platter were extraordinary—beans that are smoked for 17 hours and greens that take two days to prepare. All of this was served alongside cornbread topped with honey butter. A friend let me try their mac and cheese, and I was grateful that my mom wasn’t around to hear me rave about it! To wash it all down, I enjoyed a refreshing apple ginger beer. I could easily eat here every day without getting bored. As for the whiskey selection… let’s just say they have a wide variety, and then some!

Great selection of craft beers and an outstanding whiskey list. The food was excellent, with the brisket being the best we've ever tasted. And of course, Mac is the best bartender you could ask for! I highly recommend this place—Mac really knows how to understand your flavor preferences and provides fantastic whiskey recommendations!

If a $40 lunch happily deserves a $10 tip, then you're definitely doing something right. The food was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly gracious, friendly, and helpful. Mac's freshly brewed hot apple cider was just perfect. The atmosphere, food, and service at McCormack's are all spot on. It's clear that Mac puts his heart and soul into this place, and it shows in every meal, every drink, and every interaction with the staff. You all are doing an amazing job. While it may be a bit pricey, it's absolutely worth every penny. My wife Terri and I have a combined 50 years of experience in grocery and food retail, so we understand the value of what we pay for. You’ve definitely earned your 5 stars!

Whiskey School is great fun and a great value. Our Wild Turkey flights came with Mac's personal narrative and such great attention to detail. Meanwhile, the bacon wrapped dates are yummy and my meatloaf was really flavorful--dense and chewy (good) and not crumbly. The shrimp and grits were perfectly cooked shrimp and creamy grits, great flavor and a huge portion. If you are coming for the food, you will be thrilled. If you are coming for the whiskey, you will be thrilled. If you are coming for the service, again, GREAT.

Very pleasant surprise! Son daughter-in-law found it earlier this summer and brought us back with them. Outstanding prime rib the brisket was the best I've had outside my native Texas. Torrential rain storm soaked hubby son on the way in, and owner was kind enough to give them dry t-shirts. Awesome food folks. Highly recommend!
