Maple Bourbon - Richmond

Fantastic food and staff! Extremely friendly people who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Delicious ?manmosa? and huge pieces of chicken with those delicious waffles. Get the Maple Bourbon syrup it?s out of this warm. The grits are excellent. I?m in food heaven y?all!

Eating was amazing – drinks, not so good. I had a purple rain – it was more like sweet spicy Kool-Aid. the bourbonsirup was so delicious, perfect combination with waffel and speck. I wanted more. will definitely go back – but only hold with food, no drinks for me.

The chicken here is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. It’s juicy and moist with crispy delicious breading. The brown sugar butter for the waffle was amazing too! Definitely will be back!

I hope it was just a free day, but the service was missing. my coffee came only when my food came. when I spoke of eating, my waffel came about 10 minutes before the rest of my meal, that was speck and egg. the eating of the other person took another 10 minutes to come after my last arrival. no refills were offered. we were the only two in there, but the waiting time was as if the cook was slammed! I can say that eating was pretty good. Except these grips. I've never seen grotten like hers. it looked like cauliflower and mais. I am still not quite sure that they grits. this after the waiter assures us that their grotten were smooth. near son.... near they were chewable lol. grits should not be chewable. I hope that was a free day because I rooted black for everything. but they have to go better.

Delicious! Our waitress was very helpful in answering questions about the menu and her service was fantastic. Cute place with music that matched the feel of the dining area, menu and decor.
