Lopez Mexican - Richmond

This was my first visit to Lopez Mexican Restaurant, and I arrived around 2:30 PM, so it wasn't busy at all. I overheard the waiter telling the host that he was no longer on his way to our table, and unfortunately, this was reflected in the service we received. The food was just average—nothing particularly memorable. The highlight of the meal was probably the margarita, but we only had one since the waiter never came back to ask if we wanted another.

We went for lunch and ordered the carnitas and the burrito teller. Both dishes had delightful aromas and generous portions. However, the salsa that accompanied the chips was a bit watery; I would have preferred it to be thicker. It was disappointing that there were no beers on tap, especially for a restaurant of this size. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-kept.

Our dinner was delicious! thank you! I was also impressed by wonderful atmosphere in restaurant in general, all were friendly and professional! restaurant is clean and well maintained!

Outside and inside are both really nice looking, staff is also very friendly! Best thing about the food was the drinks though, pretty good drinks at a fair price. The fajitas unfortunately were some of the most bland tasting fajitas that I can remember having.

First time here and we love it!! Great service from the security guard, the hostess and the server! Can?t wait to go back soon again!
