Hang Space - Richmond

Hang Space is one of my top favorites in the Richmond area for delicious vegan comfort food. Every time I visit, the staff is extremely friendly, and they always recognize me, which makes me feel appreciated. Everything I've tried from the menu has been fantastic. From the pad Thai fries to the steak sandwiches, each dish is well-seasoned, fresh, and served piping hot. If it’s your first time there, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

The food was good and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered the Thai burger and fries, which we enjoyed. However, the customer service left much to be desired. The lady at the front was quite unfriendly and had a negative demeanor. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be returning here.

How did I not know about this place for the two years they’ve been open? SO DELICIOUS! And more, they are courteous from the start with friendly, chatty workers who make you feel like a regular from the start. My boyfriend ordered something on the side and the chef came out to make sure which sauces he wanted on and off which was a step above! They cared about his order request and that they got it right and that is a step above and beyond.And the food! Delicious is an understatement, really! It’s hard to believe that the huge portions they dish out can actually taste that good and stay vegan.Even the decor is so easy to get with with the whole shabby chic, art house vibe intriguing you to walk around the dining room looking at the local art while you wait. Beautiful!Definitely one of our new favorite restaurants! Now go! Eat!
