Carena's Jamaican Grille - Richmond

The food and drinks at this restaurant are excellent. Despite there only being one waitress on the day we visited and plenty of customers, the wait was worth it. You won't be disappointed and I can't wait to go back again. The food is amazing and I'm excited to try more items on the menu.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. It had just the right amount of flavor and was presented beautifully. The portions were generous. We tried the oxtails, jerk chicken, and curry chicken dishes. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. It's a wonderful place to visit if you want to try authentic Caribbean cuisine. It felt like a little taste of Jamaica. Highly recommended!

Wow! I have had good Caribbean food in New York, but Carena's exceeded my expectations! Let's talk about the price first. My curry goat and oxtail combo was a generous size for $16. The portion of fries that came with the meal was huge. The kids' meals were only $5 and were also a great size for the little ones. I have been disappointed by portion sizes at other restaurants before, so I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food we received. On top of that, the oxtails were meaty and tender. What a pleasant surprise! I will definitely be coming back.

Saw this place on diners, drive in, dives so decided to give it a try. Food was decent but they are heavy on the gravy so much so your entire meal will be swimming in it. Which I?m not a fan of. I mean I like gravy but sheesh! Service definitely could a been a bit better as well.

To whom it may concern, My order of curry chicken today taste ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I?m not sure what happened differently this morning but I can't put my fork down. Anyone that knows me knows that I eat here at least once a week. Hands down the best Jamaican places ever!! Food is bowl licking delicious ??????????????
