Bourbon St Daiquiris Cajun Cafe

I had the opportunity to try another location that were good. But this location, that claimed to be open was closed when pulled. Therefore, had to go to the other location again.

April 19th 2021 I think this place is closed down as there's another location about five miles on 1464 and Westheimer Road. Beware this place seems to use low-quality liquor in their drinks as I drink a 32 oz in a matter of 1.5 hrs and felt Nothing whatsoever. This place also runs out of all the different flavors and won't tell you they will just make you a drink and mix ANYTHING in it. I can tell you that the fastest way to lose a good customer like me is if i don't get a buzz. I'm pretty much just drinking a Icee.

2nd time eating the food. 100% last time. Overpriced, salty, minimal portion of food. Seafood platter was 2 pieces of fish with 6 dried n salty shrimp, 100 packs of ketchup and tons of salt. The chicken has nooooo flavor. Like they fried it without seasoning it then threw some garlic parmesan tasteless sauce on it. Plus i can taste the MSG. Not worth $18 at all. Cook your own blasted food at home. The drinks on the other hand, were good. I guess they known for drinks ALONE!!!!!!! I want to cusssssssss and pelt this food back to d owner (Trinbago accent) lol.

Today’s visit I ordered two shrimp poboys and an order of fried chicken wings. The shrimp and chicken both were fried in old burnt grease. The French bread for poboy’s was not toasted and the French fries were under cooked. This was my third visit to this location. My first visit I ordered a poboy and crawfish and they both had this NOLA girl wanting more. My second visit I ordered crawfish and they were so salty I couldn’t eat them. I ended up having to throw them away which was a total waste of money. I was so disappointed that I stayed away for quite some time. Today I decided I would give Bourbon St. another chance. I am extremely disappointed because I really wanted to support this Black business that I hoped would satisfy my craving for food from home NOLA.

Drinks are pretty nice and food came out expected for price range. Customer service is mid.
