Applebee's Grill - Richmond

They could put you fast. The service was excellent. They took the drink order and had it right away. Answers all questions addressed to them. The food order was quick to come and was accurate. The staff was very friendly and polite. The tables were clean and cleaned immediately.

He waited 15 minutes for our drinks we saw sitting on the bar for over 5. Beverages tasted, watered as a result. I ordered the whisky bacon burger pink and it was well done. Bacon upstairs was just a burned globe as seen in the picture. Server was asked ok, and my wife when our exam was separated or together. *Edit* When we paid, they gave us a pen that didn't work to sign the check.

Went on memorial day... Service was slow, even though there were barely any customers. Since that was the case the place could have definitely been cleaner than it was. Windows needed to be wiped down, bathroom wasn't up to par, menus under tables, grease drippings down the back of the leather chairs, the LCD displays they put on your tables needed to be wiped down. This Applebee's has definitely went down hill. I forgot why I didn't come here anymore. And paper napkins...wow. What happened to the cloth ones. The price we paid food was... ridiculous, Thought they made it some special kind of way. As a CEO/Owner Supervisor of multiple businesses, I would have never let this this establishment look the way it did. Especially on a slow day. It will take alot for me to come back here.

The waitress was the most decent part. Took my husband here for a pre birthday late dinner. Needless to say the food was not as good as other Applebees. I ordered the riblet platter and substituted the fries for a loaded potato. And my husband had the brunch burger also with a loaded potato. 1st off my riblet platter was not to my liking all they did was dump the bbq sauce on top of the riblets usually its baked on and nice and sticky but nope not this time. It was like they just pored the bbq sauce over the burnt riblets. The loaded potato had melted cheese with bacon crumbs and a lot of sour cream thrown on it the patato was hard and not cooked through. My husband's burger was over cooked and extra dry the egg and hashbrowns where also way over cooked and the cheese looked like they took it out the fridge and then placed it on the burger and the brioche bun was hard as a rock. We didn't even eat the food we just paid and tipped the waitress and left..... We definitely won't be going back again and this was the applebees at white oaks.
