Sun Shui Wah Seafood - Richmond

"This is a good spot for both dining and dinner. Be prepared for a 30-minute wait on weekends. The restaurant is very clean and the service is excellent. We visited as a group of 10, and the overall dining experience met our expectations."

For dinner, I highly recommend their seafood dishes, such as the crab and fish soup, roasted oysters in hotpot, Portuguese seafood baked with rice and prawns, and scallops in a delicious curry sauce (though this dish is no longer on the menu, they can still make it upon request). They also serve lobster in a creamy butter sauce and chopped meat crab with crab. The customer service here is outstanding. The servers frequently come around to check on the food, replace dirty plates, and refill tea, ensuring a very pleasant dining experience.

Once a year, my friends and I get together with our high school math tutor for dim sum at their favorite restaurant in Richmond, Sun Sui Wah. If you're not an early riser, it's advisable to make reservations after 11:30 AM.

I have never had a chance to try steamed custard buns and was excited when I got to sample them here. I love eggy desserts so I really liked the slightly sweet and salty rich filling. Fish Paste Rice Roll. Fish paste rice rolls are my favourite version of rice rolls to get and I really enjoyed these

Best dimsum place hands down. Great service and wonderful food... definitely recommend this place if you want some good quality dimsum! All fresh dimsum unlike those cheaper restaurants that re-steam all their dimsum
