Villa Vietnamese - Richmond

The customer service is so bad. At first I ordered pho then the guy cashier wearing glasses was on his phone and then when I came up to order, he looked annoyed since I disturb him. He even scratch his head aggressively I even smiled at him and greeted him When my order was done, he didn’t even put let the food court tray separately and I almost spilled the hot pho on my clothes. Like don’t work if your so lazy gosh!!!

We bought spring rolls here and couldn’t eat it because it smells like old bad oil . Tastes like bad oil . Terrible experience. I wonder how often they change oil

The 2 stars are for the affordability and variety on the menu. The food itself isn’t impressive. The meat smelled stall. Like they had cooked it over and over a few times when the meat didn’t sell. No visible green onion in the “scallion sauce” on meat. Instead I saw white onion. That’s an unacceptable replacement.

The fish Banh mi is passable, but do not order the chicken or pork (taste and quality are not good). Also do not order soup noodles. The broth is sweet and does not even remotely resemble a Vietnamese noodle soup. The noodles aren’t the right kind either. Unbelievably bad.

Surprised that I didn’t discover this earlier, cheap eat with great quality, a combo only cost 9 dollars or even cheaper, what a relief in pricy Vancouver. Anyway it’s a great quick bite spot, food was fresh and tasty, big portion too.
