Samsoonie Noodle & Rice - Richmond

Our friend knows the owner so we decided to go to Samsoonie for an early dinner. Lucky we did as the restaurant had a line up out the door after we left! We shared the pork belly wrap dish, gyozas - well made and crispy, crystal noodle with beef, sweet and sour chicken, and seafood pancake. Food is well priced, good portion size and tasty.

맛있다. 밴쿠버에서 이 정도면 수준급. 가격은 적당한 편인데 양이 많아서 배부르게 먹을 수 있는 정도. 차이나 타운에 있으나 한국인이 경영 하시는지 맛음 완전히 한국식이다. 돈까스도 맛나고 육개장도 맛있었음. 한식 당길 때 방문하면 좋은 곳.

Very good and quick service. Very reasonable price and tasty. A great choice for a quick and simple meal.

We dined at this unpretentious little place at the advice of my son who knows of these things. The place is small and was packed with diners during our visit with a small line up a the door. This is a good sign. We sampled a small selection of menu items from a reasonably simple list and were impressed with everything. This is a cash only place and consequently, prices are very reasonable. We will go again to try some of the other menu items.

I was already in the neighborhood so I ventured into the Samsoonie Noodle & Rice for lunch. My selection of the soft tofu hot pot arrived piping hot prompted. A very enjoyable lunch for $10.00. As always parking was a challenge.
