Contribuiți la feedbackHaving tired of the fare at the Pioneer's Pub we wandered next door to Pho Khang for a couple of bowls of noodles. Vietnamese restaurants in metro Vancouver serves very similar food (both in style and flavor) Pho Khang is no exception. Service was prompt, the food was fresh...............and yes we'll return soon.
I was in need of finding a place for a late lunch around 2 pm. I decided to try this place and I'm glad I did. I had the lemongrass chicken and deep fried salad roll on top of rice vermicelli for $8.65. I wasn't disappointed. The portion of the serving was decent. There was enough chicken and the fried salad roll had a bit of a spicy kick to it which was a nice change. The noodles, sliced carrots and bean sprouts were all fresh. The service was good and I didn't have to wait long for my food. The place was clean and pleasant. I will definitely go back again.
A small but friendly and very efficient restaurant with a good selection of Vietnamese food. Arrive early for lunch to get a table as it can fill up . Good quality dishes and reasonable prices.
My quest to try every Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond continues. This particular Vietnamese restaurant is located in the Broadmoor Shopping Centre. I saw it over a year ago as it was being renovated and this was the first time I ate here.We went arrived around 1:30 and it was not busy with only 4 customers in the restaurant. My spouse ordered the $5.75 pork salad rolls (2) – sliced pork meat substituted for the usual shrimp with a peanut based dipping sauce. I had a bite of my spouse’s roll and the sliced pork was tasty.I ordered the Khang House special for $8.50 – beef, beef meatballs, brisket, beef tripe and tendon. Overall, this was a tasty dish with plenty of protein. This particular pho only came in the one size – looks like a large size. The total bill came to $14.95 before tips. The sprouts were fresh as was the basil.I ended up with slightly dry mouth that is usually associated with the use of the flavour enhancer MSG. However, this is not a big deal. The service was okay. We were greeted at the door right away and also promptly served tea.Overall, I would rate the service as average and the food slightly better at 3.25 out of 5 for taste and value / portion size. If it were not for my dry mouth and the upset stomach, I probably would have rated the food taste slightly higher; maybe 3.5.Notes and Tips:• There were 2 types of hot sauces available – chilli oil and siracha sauce.• Restaurant has liquor licence• My spouse did complain about an upset stomach as did I an hour or so later after we ate. However, to be fair I don’t know if it is related to the meals.• Accepts credit card although there are no signs out front. Previously cash only.• Lots of parking• Inside seating for approximately 46 people• Separate washrooms for men and women. Both are wheelchair accessible.• This was my third Vietnamese restaurant in 7 days; the other two being Lotus and Pho Japolo. See my reviews.• There’s also a Japanese restaurant around the corner in this mall.
This place is becoming the goto Vietnamese restaurant for good meal. The pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Service is great as well. Very clean environment and easy to find parking.
