Manzo Itamae Japanese - Richmond

We love coming to Manzo. The food is delicious with great service. We usually come here for a special occasion like a birthday or holiday.

We waited for an hour for our food orders to arrive. The service was bad and the food quality was so so. Everything was pricy as well. We had Such a bad experience.

Everything is good. The atmosphere is great. One thing. Very pricey. So. Have lots of before you go.

It’s been 5+ years since I’ve last visited. Used to come here to get drunk late night, so of course I wouldn’t remember the food and what it tasted like. Dropped by recently and honestly the food was good, and service was super kind and nice. Really liked the engawa sushi, and the uni crab roll. The bluefin tartar was melt in your mouth good. And the tako wasabi so crunchy and punchy. They kept coming to clean up the dishes and was super attentive all night, despite not spending much. The only down side is that this place is expensive. And in that price range and in Richmond, you have plenty to choose from like Kyabia a few blocks down.

Only the oysters was good. Sashimi cut so thick… the nigiri rice is bad. Foie gras overcooked…
