Very local Chinese restaurant that has very yummy pineapple buns. They only take cash so be sure to have cash on hand.

Decided to try this restaurant on my monthly visit to Vancouver. This is a Hong Kong style café restaurant, the line-up is long and you may need to share a table with others. The place is greasy and so chaotic. If you sit by tables near the front, you have people standing around your table waiting to be seated.The most popular items are pineapple bun and egg tart. While I was waiting for a table, I ordered pineapple buns, egg-tarts and honey buns for take-out later (the pineapple buns came out every 25 min and will usually all gone unless you put your order in first). Once we were seated, they put the take-out on the table without taking our order – that is fine, I don’t have problem with that.After we placed our in-restaurant orders - two Hong Kong style teas, ham omelet with bun, satay beef pineapple bun, two egg-tarts and a single pineapple bun. The ham omelet with bun, egg tarts and two teas came in reasonable time about ten minutes. After another ten minutes, I remind them the satay beef pineapple bun and a pineapple still missing. After 3 more reminders and 30 more minutes, I asked them to track the order and the answer were the same, "the order is coming". Decided to leaver and ask for bill, sat for 10 minutes, bill never came – then was told walk up to cashier to pay. When was at cashier, the cashier only told you the total amount, no bill. Since some items were missing, I requested a bill so that I knew what has been charged. The cashier wasn’t very happy at the request.No matter how good the bun is, won’t go bad in near future.

港式茶餐廳的食物選擇很多, 吃起來也算道地, 但是價格不太親民, 有點貴. 菠蘿牛油包很好吃, 公仔麵也不錯. 經常會有很多人, 所以建議用餐時間的話要早點去, 或者就要有排隊的心理準備.

The buns were huge and light and fluffy. I apparently got the last 4 at the time and the person behind me had to wait. I didn't care for the egg tarts, too buttery.
