Contribuiți la feedbackI have been enjoying having lunch/dinner at this restaurant for 3 years. Every time I visit here,It always has a lively atmosphere and serves delicious tonkatus! Also, always get welcomed from friendly staff with a cheery voice : It was delicious before, but now it's even more delicious. My favorite menus are cheese tonkatus and assorted tonkatus set. I can confidently say it's the best tonkatus restaurant in Vancouver.
"I 've been a regular at Katsu San for three years now, and it 's no wonder why. This Japanese-style cutlet restaurant has consistently delivered top-notch dining experiences. My wife and I recently enjoyed the Katsu Assorted Set, which was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The set includes a succulent ebi, two cheesy delights, and a flavorful pork katsu cutlet, all perfectly cooked. What truly sets Katsu San apart is their attention to detail. The variety of sauces, complimentary miso soup, unlimited rice refills, and fresh salad add so much value to the meal. The servers are not only attentive but also incredibly helpful, making you feel right at home. And let 's not forget about the owner, who 's always so kind and welcoming. In my three years of dining here, I 've never been disappointed. Katsu San consistently delivers high-quality food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. If you haven 't tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a visit. It 's a gem of a restaurant that has remained consistently outstanding for years in Richmond "Parking: There is tons of parking lot beside restuarantKid-friendliness: We dont have kids but as far as I know they are more than welcome to bring your kids. All staffs are very kind amd friendly.
Katsu was great. It was enjoyable eating with lots of different sauces and side dishes. Cabbage salad with the sesame dressing was the bomb. Unlimited refills for rice, salad and soup was generous but realistically, you'd probably only refill the salad and soup. If there's a room for improvement, it's probably that they crammed 5 of us in a table for 4. I get that they wanted to save space but their trays are huge and the tables are small. We had to maneuver a bit to fit all 5 trays on the table.Other than that, service was good and they ask if you want refills for the salad. There is a free 3 hour parking but it's limited.
A popular Japanese style pork cutlet specialty store in Richmond that many still don’t know about. The batter is somewhat thick and a bit damp, but the overall flavor is good. Rice, lettuce, and soup are all served unlimited. However, the rice is just too wet. The servers are doing their job very well.
Tonkatsu was very good, crispy and tender. The ramen was very delicious as well. Friendly staff and good food. Will come again. Table time is limited to one hour.
