The quality of the food is on par with the main competitors in the area. I personally prefer having a separate broth for each person, as it helps me keep better track of my own dishes. However, that’s just my personal preference; the food here is still outstanding!

The best hot pot in Richmond! As always, the service and food quality are outstanding. We sampled their new coconut chicken broth, which offers a lovely mix of sweet and savory flavors. The staff is amazing—there’s nothing to critique! Haidilao is undoubtedly my go-to hot pot place in Richmond!

We arrived ahead of our reservation, eager to begin our dinner a little earlier. However, the restaurant was bustling and clearly a popular spot worth visiting. When it was finally our turn to be seated, Logan, our server, greeted us with great enthusiasm and made sure we were comfortable before taking our orders. Despite the busy atmosphere, he managed everything effortlessly and provided exceptional customer service. If you're thinking of dining here, I suggest calling ahead to inquire about wait times and making a reservation in advance.

One of the best features is the option to choose from single, double, or quarter soup bases, allowing you to explore a variety of flavors in one go. The waiting area offers complimentary drinks and snacks, which is a nice touch. They also provide aprons to protect your clothes from splatters. Plus, a little robot delivers your food right to your table, adding to the fun! The restaurant has a comprehensive sauce bar, which includes desserts and fresh fruit, but keep in mind that sauces come at an additional cost. You'll also be treated to a complimentary ice cream dessert at the end of your meal. Reservations are advisable since it's quite popular. I highly recommend checking it out!

I had my first visit to this restaurant and was truly impressed by both the food and the service. There was a minor delay with a couple of dishes, but the staff managed the situation efficiently and kept everything under control. I don’t have any complaints at all. The sauce bar is a delightful addition! Be sure to try the noodles, as they prepare them right in front of you.
