The food is not fresh as before, and the part per plate is quite small

Our server explained its recommendations and other information for our meal that was appreciated. he was great. the food is tasty, but it is probably hard to screw marinated meat and they were very surprised, everything was tasteful and delicate. it is decent eating to prosper. we were there in normal hours, but the happy hour price was not a big difference when they go in these times.

Service is good! the meat is very tasty. the combi for 2 contains so much meat. highly recommended.

The place didn’t look too busy but I have never been to one Gyukaku where our grill plate was only changed once (we are a family of 4 and ordered a set menu for 3 and a few more raw sides). The other gyukakus I have been to I won’t say the service was excellent but I felt like we were looked after. Last night I’d say we were rarely given attention (I don’t ever usually wave down my server) but last night I had to wave down somebody else coz no one ever came to us to change the grill plate and we sat there not grilling for over 15 min coz we were just waiting for someone to come. Overall, I wasn’t looking for superb service and I didn’t even get basic service I should get from a bbq restaurant.

Loved everything overall but recommend the more thinly sliced meat. More tender and flavourful
