The soft tofu soup was also delicious, although not my top choice, it was definitely good. Plus, the prices here are reasonable compared to other Korean BBQ places I've been to.
I recently visited this restaurant with a friend. It is a small establishment, so we had to wait for a table, but they put us on the waitlist and called us when our table was ready. The waitress was friendly and courteous, and I liked the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was good, although a bit expensive. I ordered the LA galbi combo, which came with galbi, kimchi, and kimchi fried rice with a fried egg on top. The galbi was cooked well, but lacked a strong grilled flavor. The marinade gave it a hint of ginger taste, which was nice. The kimchi fried rice was delicious, not too spicy or overwhelming. The portion sizes appeared small at first, but ended up being quite filling. I was surprised to see charges for refills or extra side dishes that are usually complimentary at other Korean restaurants. Despite this, I had a positive experience overall.
I ordered the pork collar Korean BBQ to go and it was fantastic. It's the closest thing you can get to a Korean BBQ dinner experience in takeout form. The radish and lettuce wraps, along with the side dishes and sauces, were all fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that it didn't come with rice. Besides that, this is seriously delicious takeout food from a great restaurant. Check out my pictures to see for yourself.
Interesting little shop that serves Korean Style BBQ and hot pots! I love their Korean Army Base Soup, it has almost everything under the Sun well almost , its the kind of food that you will have to try it before you will fall in love with it, it consist of a spicy kimchi soup base, with Spam, yes Spam, and instant noodles, processed cheese, rice cake and all the things that is not supposed to be healthy! But interestingly when put together its amazingly good! Come hungry as you will need to be, or you call up a friend or two to share!!
My family just had a terrible experience in this korean resturant last evening. We arrived at 5.30pm on time and started to eat at 5.45pm ish. Ordered about $100 food for our meal and the waitress started to push us to pay the bill at 6.25pm by leaving the bill on our table without asking, and even offering us a takeout box for the rest of food on the table, which we didn't ask for either. and also taking any plate immediately if she saw the plate is empty. Well, we know there were more customers coming. But seriously? You don't even give one hour to us to finish our dinner? Not even mention we got two little kids. By the way, my kids were both quite. On more thing here. Their debit machine default tip rate is 15% at least, for all the above? Lol. However my wife still paid 15% tips just because it's my boy's birthday and we didn't wanna ruin it but the resturant truely did. :
