The staff is fully bilingual and there are vegetarian options available as well as gluten-free friendly dishes for those with dietary restrictions. Thank you.
I’ve been to a couple of church offshoot cafes. Café du Couvent is by far the most superior. The owners have curated a casual rustic coziness. The large open-door kitchen on the right bustles, bringing forth a buttery aroma. The music is low enough to soothe without disturbing the sense of silence. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is comparatively cheap. I paid nine dollar and twenty-five cents, for a croissant sandwich filled with impressive amounts of cheese and ham. I was pleasantly surprise with the fruit salad on the side. The cafe is easy to access. The church parking lot is free and right in front of the cafe. Furthermore, although there were no clients with children during my stay, I am certain this cafe is kid friendly. There is a tiny table next to the window. All sorts of games and books are stacked a tiny arms reach away. To conclude, if you are looking for a piece of peace, look no further.
