Outstanding Italian dishes and service! I had the chicken and mushroom penne pasta and my husband had the angel hair pasta and shrimp. We had the bruschetta for an appetizer. Everything was piping hot when served. Would recommend you make reservations as there are probably 10 or so tables. We ended up sitting at the bar because we had not made reservations, as this was our first time here.

This place is a diamond in the rough. The location and exterior is modest and gives the illusion of the place being just another restaurant in a strip type mall. Well, the interior, staff, food and experience is anything but typical. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. They were busy when we arrived but our waiter was good at keeping tabs on us. He was also very friendly and personable, which can make or break a place for us. The food choices are good. It's not a place that has a million different things but what they have is excellent. The two dishes we picked were better than we expected. The flavors were there and the ingredients were clearly fresh with some possibly coming from their own outside raised garden. The price is a little on the higher side, but it's worth it as we took some left overs home and had a second meal. They have a sister restaurant just down the road which is more of a country food place but looks just as delicious. It will be on our radar for sure. The place is definitely full of locals, who clearly know of this place. Definitely worth checking out.

Four of us arrived at the restaurant with big appetites. Our table was not quite ready, so we ordered cocktails from Paul. It was a perfect beginning to the evening. Paul is an excellent bartender who can handle a busy bar with ease. We were then seated by Jennifer, who is part of the husband and wife team behind Kitchen House, South Kitchen, and Chicken House. After hearing enticing descriptions of the specials and popular menu items, we ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were beautifully presented. In conclusion, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our meals. The service was exceptional. Trust me and make a trip to this restaurant.
