Hope's Chow Mein - Richfield

Excellent food! As others have mentioned, the place (building is old, and not flashy. But I didn't come to the lip, I wanted to eat. Order Hopes Lo Mein, house special fried rice, egg rolls, cheese won tons and egg drops soup. Everything was good. Price was reasonable and they even sat in 2 free egg rolls for $25 order. I had only the question that 2 of the 4 egg rolls were boiled over (mainly the free ones). I would recommend and I will be back. Tested like real authentic Chinese food for me, not the stuff swimming in sauces that make your next trip the bathroom! Honestly, the only reason I'm here for the first time was the reviews, and they're the right EXCELLENT FOOD! (lost 1 star for the overdone egg rolls, otherwise would have been 5!

We come to Hope's 5 6 times a year to get out and it's always worth it. Always get the same order: Lemon Grass Chicken and Singapore Rice Noodles. Love! Also try the fried rice and egg rolls. Very friendly staff you always like to see. You really fill out the containers so you will have many great remains.

The food was very fresh. To order. It was so hot when we came home, we couldn't take it out of the box. Eddie, the waiter/cashier is really friendly. The new owners have really turned this place into a great restaurant/living place.

What a great lunch. Choice of 2 ducks, chicken wing, egg roll, sommes, soup. All good for only $7.50. Great service, loved our waiter.

Love Hope's Silver Spoon. I grew up across the street and it is still one of the best and authentic Chinese restraunts I've ever had. Very unassuming- The owners always remember you I am always impressed!
