Alpine Retreat - Richfield

We live in the area and are delighted at what Steve and Cindy have done with their menu. The food is always very very good and the service exceptional. Michelle has waited on us over the years and is attentive and interesting. I recommend the Retreat to all my friends without hesitation.

We've sampled a variety of dishes, and they've all been excellent. The duck is consistently cooked to perfection and has a lovely crispy texture, while the beef rouladen is outstanding. The only issue is that the Swiss steak is so incredibly delicious it’s tough to resist ordering it every time!

My husband and I have been dining at Steve's place in Mequon for years, so we were thrilled to hear that Steve and Cindy have opened a new restaurant. We arrived at 6:15 PM, and the place was buzzing with activity. Fortunately, we were seated right away. We overheard other customers around us praising how delicious everything was. Later on, Steve came out to greet everyone, which added a nice personal touch. Our server, Michelle, was fantastic. We appreciated how all the servers helped one another; another server named Sara assisted us as well. We will definitely be returning and bringing our friends with us.
