The Lake House And Bed And Breakfast

Cool spot on a lake. Not too far from Cooperstown if you are going to the museum. Small rooms, but very comfortable shared spaces.

Partner and I had a lot of trouble finding a place to stay on a July weekend when the little league camps were going. All we could find was a room at the lake house. We came in and the folks at the front were very kind and friendly. The room was OK, very outdated, though I was expecting that. I read lots of reviews about the showers being freezing we didn’t have an issue there. The problem came when we pulled back the sheets and found multiple hairs ?. Luckily (we thought) there was a second bed. We pulled back the sheets and inspected. We found one very long hair at the foot of the bed. ??. We slept a bit fretfully on top of the sheets. I will say that hospitality staff changed the sheets no questions asked. However, we came back to our room after a day touring and just decided to head home. If you have options, I wouldn’t stay here.

Great food and great service. Food came out at a decent time.
